Learning excellence is the priority above all other school functions, ensuring all students' receive the best chance of success in their academic journey while at Lake, and for their lives after their time at Lake. Learning involves more than academics, it involves equipping students with the tools and behaviors to effectively solve problems, develop appropriate social skills, equip self advocacy and enable effective decision making with the support of Lake teachers, parents and administration.

Safety for our children at all Lake schools through improved policies, processes and enforcement to provide a safe learning environment and eliminate bullying. Ensure that there are clearly defined and enforced policies in the student handbook to prevent all forms of bullying, intimidation and hate speech. And emphasize that safety is creating an environment where we hold each other accountable as a collective Lake family.

Voice of the community on the Lake Local School Board: Better, more timely and more open communication and coordination of school priorities and actions between the school, parents, local government and local businesses. I will listen to and reflect the voice of the community on the Lake Local School Board to ensure the school serves its citizens. I will work to reimplement round tables to improve community communication.

Fiscal responsibility for Lake Local Schools to address the growing community in which it serves and its changing and growing needs with detailed 1, 3 and 5 year plans. This includes transparency and open communication about the budget priorities of Lake Schools and effective coordination with other Lake governing groups to plan for the resources needed to educate our growing community.
